How To Get Rid Of Roaches

These nasty critters love to snack on your crumbs and dig in your garbage disposal and will essentially go after just about any possible hint of a food particle possible. So your first order is to start by making sure you put food away and cover anything that must be left out.

Sweep your floors regularly and check under your kids beds constantly for tossed wrappers and other fun food moves little ones like to make.

Figure out where they might be coming from an then spray with roach killer or set up a glue board, such as the catchmaster, which will hold roaches in their place where they won’t have the ability to eat, drink or move around your home.  Sure, they’ll die there, but better there than in your cupboards, right?

Check your home for cracks and holes and spray with insecticides or dust with Boric acid mixed with flour and cocoa.   Keep this mixture away from your children and avoid breathing it in as you prepare it.

Cockroach bait traps are also good because they eat the poison inside and then take it back to their nests.

Try using a non-chemical approach by placing big water jars near a wall or opening in your home.  Roaches will enter the jar to drink but they won’t be able to get out.
