Lucky New York Driver!

by Creativity Writer

Friday, April 3, and East Patchogue failed to make a tight, hairpin turn in his Dodge Avenger. It is very unusual one car crash, the car went off a dirt embankment on the north side of the highway, through a wooded area and turned over when it landed near a service road. The driver was ejected sometime during his trip down the embankment. He is now in the Brookhaven Memorial Hospital with serious head injuries. Maybe if he had gone to an academy driving school in NY, he would have been able to make that turn.

The DMV in New York will usually recommend people should take a driving course other than just drivers Ed in high school. A driving school can teach you how to handle hairpin turns, ice covered roads and various other road conditions.

A motorcycle driving course in NY as well as a truck driving school in NY would have taught the same driving techniques to this driver. Every driver should learn a variety of techniques to drive safer. This man has experienced pure luck in surviving such a bizarre crash. With the proper education he could have avoided that same crash.

Besides being lucky himself, the driver is also lucky that there were no other vehicles involved in his crash. He could have very easily have hit another vehicle on the road at the bottom of the embankment causing the death or severe injury of either the driver or passenger.
